Susanna Alatalo is a Helsinki-based freelance photojournalist. She has extensive experience in both newspapers and magazines. Her work focuses on the intricacies of the human condition especially in developing countries. At the moment her main emphasis is on cultural and religious practices and documenting rituals and rites of different cultures. The mass of her work has been in feature and travel journalism but she also has her hands in everyday news photography.
